Wild Child – An American Band

Austin, Texas’ Wild Child is a six-piece (and lately a seven-piece) band of juicy instrumentation led by the sweet harmonies of vocalists Alexander Beggins and Kelsey Wilson.

The group earned Best Indie Act and Best Folk Act at the Austin Music Awards. Still, their sound is more encompassing than the mere folk, indie or gypsy elements that marinate within the music.

The current line-up offers an array of sounds and includes: Alexander Beggins (Lead vocals, baritone ukulele), Kelsey Wilson (Lead vocals, violin), Evan Magers (Keyboards), Drew Brunetti (Drums), Sadie Wolfe (Cello) Chris D’Annunzio (Bass) and Matt Bradshaw (Trumpet).

Critically acclaimed, they are known to play sold out shows in clubs across the nation. Appearing on many “Best of” music lists and charts, their music streams on Spotify, Soundcloud, and Youtube have passed ten million listens.

While touring nationally, the band performed at major festivals like UtopiaFest, Austin City Limits Music Festival, Wakarusa, Firefly Music Festival, Bonnaroo, Osheaga, and Savannah Stopover.

Their special appearances include, Last Call with Carson Daly, AXS Live, PBS, CBS This Morning, World Café, eTown Radio and The Late Late Show With Craig Ferguson. Wild Child also sound-tracked a Purina Cat Food commercial.
