Panism can be categorized as handan art. It starts off as a single image of a handpan. The image is duplicated, flipped, rotated, moved, and layered as needed. Various adjustment details are also applied. Each design takes many, many, many hours to complete.
What is Hangism? It is a work of art (or design) created by using a single digital image of a PanArt Hang. The image is duplicated, flipped, rotated, moved, and layered as needed. And, various adjustment details are applied.
AoxoA brings you the history of the original Imago Urbicum Mutavi photographic series which was a catalyst for Imago Urbicum Mutavi (Part 2). Both series can be classified as fine art or experimental photography.
The twenty-eight photographs in the Imago Urbicum Mutavi series contain images from New York City circa 1998. Using black and white negatives, the images were altered in the printing process early in 1999. The fancy title is my attempt to make a phrase in Latin that says Altered Images from the City.
